What frequency range do wireless microphones transmit in?

In several of my university lecture halls professors use wireless lapel clip-on microphones in order to speak over the room's speakers. If one wanted to listen to the lecture using a scanner and headphones, what frequency range would he or she need to scan in order to pick up the microphone's transmissions?
