What is the best shooter game for Gamecube or PS2?

Im looking for a shooter game..i would like one that has a variety of weapons..flamethrowers, bazookas, sniper rifles etc. I know I cant go wrong if I get army men..but I wanted something a bit more realistic..idc if the cpu i have to take out is aliens or whatever..but I want the person I control to be realistic.
