Are there a lot of delays in AIT?

My friend got out of army basic in early January, and was supposed to be in AIT for 25S Jan. 10th, and says his is delayed. i'm also going into the army, shipping in 2 weeks for 19D osut at Ft. Knox. Should I expect to be delayed as well?
