British Army: What to choose?

I recently applied for an infantry/gunner job. After seeing my qualifications (17 GCSE's C and above, 4 A Levels) and my BARB test score I was told by the recruiter to use my education and full potential. I was really set on the idea of being as physical and pushed, trained, etc. as possible which was why infantry was my choice. I have since looked into being a Driver for the RLC or the Ammo tech/Bomb disposal (*reccomended trade by recruiter). Do you think i should follow what I want to do or maybe alter my plans a bit and see my full potential?
