My clutch arm on my Peugeot 306 has snapped!?

The gearbox will need removed as the release bearing fork assembly is attached to the arm and will not come out while the gearbox is in place.The reason for the arm breaking is usually a faulty clutch pressure plate.So check that as well while the box is out.Hope this helps
