Do You Go Back to Airborne?

I'm 15 and have talked to an Army recruiter. I told him I wanted to be a Ranger and he said that so far I qualified I just have to have an Op 40 in my contract and I can join at 17. I forgot to ask him what if you fail RIP? Since you just took Airborne training and got your wings do you go back and remain in airborne until you can try again at RIP?
